SCS Timeline
- 1996 – Synstelien Foster Homes began as Daryl and Linda Synstelien first provided foster care services to vulnerable adults in their home in Fergus Falls.
- 1999 – Synstelien Foster Homes incorporated as Synstelien Community Services, Inc.
- 2000 – SCS Clear Lake Residence was brought into service in rural Dalton.
- 2001 – SCS Southview Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2002 – SCS Hillside Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2003 – SCS began providing In-Home Services for individuals needing support in their own home.
- 2003 – SCS Woodland Residence was brought into service in rural Elizabeth.
- 2004 – SCS Williams Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2006 – SCS Park View Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2008 – SCS Corporate Offices moved to the current Operations Center in Fergus Falls.
- 2008 – SCS Gustavus Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2008 – SCS Westside Residence was moved to a new location in Fergus Falls.
- 2009 – SCS Ridgeview Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls.
- 2010 – SCS Oriole Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls
- 2012 – SCS Everett Residence was brought into service in Fergus Falls
